Conversation Club
Spring Session 2010
SING IT IN ITALIAN!
This is our first sing-along class! Roberto Bonanni will bring his guitar and his great expertise in music! Each week students will learn the history, melody, and lyrics of two or three Italian favorites. Like other elements of Italian culture, Italian music is generally eclectic.
Italian pop music is an important part of the country's musical heritage and an iconic part of Italian identity. Among the best-known Italian pop musicians of the last few decades are Sergio Endrigo, Lucio Battisti, Claudio Baglioni and Adriano Celentano. We will be singing some of their most recognizable songs!
